Beautiful Faces of Ghana

A little under a month ago I spent five weeks in Ghana teaching English, art, and math at a primary school. These are some of the portraits of the students and a teacher that I worked with while I was there. All of the children were so beautiful and it was hard for me to just choose a few, but these are my favorite.

Sprinkler Time

The way pool-less children spend 90 degree summer days. I like to think that though I did not have a pool growing up, I grew intellectually from the creative process of thinking up different ways I could use a hose to make rides- the water slide, the water swing, the endurance shower, the slippery monkey bars, and the list goes on. Took some pictures of Andrew and Em in the sprinkler and the kids that I have been babysitting for the past few days. So cute and such pure joy :O).

gotta appreciate that sisterly love ^ she shot hit when I asked them to pose
